How we work
Working together to reach more children
Nofam Uganda doesn't work alone — cooperation across the network is what makes this model work. We're hosted inside an established Ugandan organization, work alongside local charities running their own programmes, and stay connected to Nofam Foundation in the Netherlands, which supports the network with tools, knowledge and presence.

Our ecosystem of partners
Every stakeholder plays a distinct role — from platforms and policy to grassroots delivery:
Nofam Netherlands
Provides the online sponsorship platform, technical guidance and global support for transparency in linking sponsors to children
Ministry of Education and Sports
Sets national education policy and provides oversight for enrollment, retention and quality standards
Local civil society organizations
Implement sponsorship programs at grassroots level, identify vulnerable children and provide direct support
Grassroots community leaders
Mobilize communities, advocate for child protection and ensure cultural acceptance
Sponsors — individuals & families
Provide financial and emotional support, enabling education, healthcare and wellbeing
Corporate organizations
Partner through CSR — funding, scholarships, and health and insurance packages for sponsored children
